Lent Photo Challenge 2021 - What's it all about?

This Lent, we’re launching a photo challenge in which we hope many of you will participate.

Every day, from Ash Wednesday (February 17) to Easter Sunday (April 4) we’ll be posting an image and some words for reflection.

Each day has a theme – see accompanying image – and we need your help to find some images which reflect the themes.

Photos already stored in your device, or new ones you’re inspired to take when on your daily exercise or even from your living room window – we’d love to see them all. Local views would be particularly welcome but be as creative as you want!

If you’re unable to get out and about to take photos but have some ideas relating to our themes then let us know and we can arrange to have pictures taken.

We hope that they will inspire, encourage, comfort and challenge you as we travel the Lent road remotely but always together in the grace of God.

If your photo doesn’t appear in the blog then look out for it during our weekly online Sunday service which you can find on the Helensburgh Parish Church YouTube channel.
